Cyber threat intelligence is critical for an effective defense. Adversaries have an arsenal of tools available to them to exploit all manner of intelligent devices, such as computers, advanced security appliances, and cell phones. In order for cyber security professionals to understand the depth of the threat at large. Advanced Persistent Threats such as countries like China, North Korea, and Russia have swarms of computer hackers and the financial means to continually bombard countries like the United States with cyber-attacks. Intelligence gathering, assimilation, and dissemination of information is a small part of intelligence gathering. There also needs to be talented cybersecurity analysts that can recognize and respond to threats in real time to help protect assets.
